In this documentary, made up of clips from the show and memories of moments and encounters, Elliot, Rigby and Millard generously talk through the project’s initial sketches, crystallisation and realisation: from a desire to investigate this widespread nostalgia, to the choice of focusing in on the story of theatre-maker Mark Lloyd and his wish to reform his old bands having received a terminal cancer diagnosis, to the experience of getting into a room and jamming rather than improvising as you would in a rehearsal room, and dwelling on how that feels. This conversation was recorded on 27.11.2020.
